Joe Burrow sends yet another message to Bengals about Tee Higgins

Joe Burrow is NOT letting the Bengals mess this up with Tee Higgins.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow has shot very public messages to the organization about the future of wide receiver Tee Higgins in recent weeks.

Burrow used his final regular season podium of the year after Saturday night’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers to do it one more time.

There, Burrow praised Higgins in a few different ways coming out of a game where the star wideout aggravated an ankle injury.

“You don’t want to make a habit of letting great players get out of the building,” Burrow said. “You just can’t let him get out of the building.”

A new report before the game said Burrow, Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase have continued to talk about sticking together “for years to come” despite Higgins being slated for free agency.

No great shock there. Burrow has spoken directly to his front office through the media for weeks. Higgins changed agents, joining up with Chase’s reps, and he’s had some really head-turning comments about his next contract.

Rest assured that if the Bengals sneak into the playoffs (via Jets and Chiefs wins on Sunday), Burrow will use a postseason podium appearance to stress the same things about Higgins and the future of the team again.
