Cincinnati Bengals fans worried about the injury comebacks of Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon can rest easy.
In his pre-free agency media call, Bengals head coach Zac Taylor offered updates on both — and it’s all good news.
On Burrow, Taylor said he’s “on pace to do all the things we’re hoping he would do. He’s doing really well,” according to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com.
That’s good news, considering Burrow had notably said he plans on running and getting back to throwing in mid-February. One would think we would have seen some of this on social media by now, but Taylor doesn’t have much of a reason to fib on this one.
And on Mixon, ESPN’s Ben Baby captured the scene:
Zac Taylor on Joe Mixon: Joe's good. He's working out. I know he feels really good right now.

Mixon’s status has been a little more mysterious after a nagging issue limited him to six games last year, so in this case, any news appears to be good news.
Ideally, the Bengals will have a massively upgraded offensive line awaiting both star players when they return and get on the field over the summer. The quest to make that reality starts in free agency next week.
