Joe Burrow’s status for Monday night’s game against the Rams has been up in the air all week, but it seems likely that Los Angeles will face the star quarterback. According to multiple reports, Burrow is trending toward playing, with Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reporting that “signs pointing toward Joe Burrow starting for the Bengals.”
Garafolo, Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport all believe there’s optimism that Burrow will play against the Rams, which Diana Russini of The Athletic reported earlier in the day. Burrow went through a workout this morning and is pushing for the Bengals to let him play.
Signs pointing toward Joe Burrow starting for the #Bengals tonight, yes. On the other side, the #Rams have prepared the last few days as if Burrow will be a go. https://t.co/vYFxHlYdny

Sean Mcvay, Aaron Donald and the Rams as a team have all been preparing as if Burrow will play Monday night, so they’ll be ready if No. 9 is the one under center for the first snap of the game.
Burrow reinjured his calf last week in the Bengals’ loss to the Ravens, an injury he originally suffered back in July during training camp.
