Joe Burrow hit the podium at the 2020 NFL combine on Tuesday and naturally fielded questions about the Cincinnati Bengals.
And yes, he finally answered the all-important question in a direct manner — he’d happily play for the Bengals.
So ends the speculation about that particular talking point. Burrow told reporters he wouldn’t just not show up no matter where he’s drafted.
Burrow’s time since winning the national championship had been littered with sporadic media appearances in which he respectfully answered questions about the Bengals and draft in a neutral manner. That left an opening for speculation to pop up about his feelings on the team holding the first pick in the draft.
