It’s hard to expect much in the way of Cincinnati Bengals news right now, especially as coaches are only just getting ready to get back to work at Paul Brown Stadium.
But Joe Burrow has a way of making splashes.
Burrow, billed as a leadership stalwart, has already assumed command of the all-virtual meetings and his pre-snap assignments to the point he has Bengals coaches praising him.
And that same praise continues to roll in from teammates from all over the country too.
Here’s veteran wideout Auden Tate for example, as captured by Fox 19’s Jeremy Rauch:
"Even in meetings, he speaks up and doesn't waiver. I'm confident in the dude already and haven't met him face to face."

It doesn’t get much better than this for the Bengals in the news department right about now. Unless Burrow finds a way to put in some actual on-field work with his new teammates before training camp, this is about as good as it gets.
And for June? This is the sort of headline onlookers need to see as the Bengals steer toward a new era with a new franchise passer. From the sounds of it, Burrow’s going to walk into Paul Brown Stadium with the respect of all.
