Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is unflinching when asked about whether he’d like to reunite with former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase.

It’s always a big “yes.”

Burrow had a fun interview session recently with Fanatics and fielded some questions. One of those asked about the possible LSU reunion and the former No. 1 pick kept it short and sweet: “I’d love to play with Ja’Marr…we’re still in contact all the time…He’s a great dude and a great player. I’d love to have him on the team.”

This topic came up recently with reporters and Burrow went into a little more detail. Recent mock drafts have also tried to make the case that the Bengals should get the LSU tandem back together.

Burrow seems to like the idea enough and the Bengals probably should too. The coaching staff implemented plenty of LSU concepts into the playbook and last time Burrow and Chase played together, the top-10 candidate posted 1,780 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Provided the Bengals hit the offensive line in free agency, Burrow and Chase alongside Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd and Joe Mixon has a pretty nice ring to it.
