Joe Buck breaking down Justin Thomas’ hairline is more proof that he’s the GOAT

Justin Thomas could only laugh at this Joe Buck video.

Last week around this time I told you Joe Buck, the GOAT announcer, was going to make all of our days a little better by doing some play-by-play of videos sent to him on Twitter… and he hasn’t disappointed. At all.

Basically, he’s taking whatever mundane or fun or random things you’re doing around the house and he’s adding creative play-by-play to the moment, which is pretty cool for a guy who has called so many huge events in sports over the years.

Buck jumped out of the gates last week with a bunch of great videos that you can see here, and then crushed with this hilarious one of two dogs playing in a puddle.

Just perfect stuff to distract us from some really challenging days.

Well, over the weekend Buck, who is using these videos to raise money for various charities, had another great one that might have jumped the puddle-playing dogs in my power rankings of these videos as he brilliantly called PGA Tour star Justin Thomas working on his receding hairline.

It was great, as you can see here (click here to see it if you’re reading the newsletter version of this post):

My favorite part had to be the Jordan Spieth reference – “He’s doing the Jordan Spieth pushdown. I do the Jordan Spieth pushdown. It’s the only way to try to make your hair look fuller and thicker.”

Come on, that is great. Thomas agreed, tweeting: “You’re a legend Joe. And also so bored that you will commentate on my hairline issues. Well done, sir!”

Buck is hated by a lot of fans who think he has rooted against their teams while calling games over the years. But here’s the thing – he doesn’t care who wins the games and he doesn’t care about your teams. His only concern is having a great broadcast, which he does every time out.

Now hopefully fans who don’t like him are starting to see that Buck is just a normal guy who likes to have fun, can make fun of himself, and is able to use his platform to make supply laughs and help those in need.

What’s not to like about that?

Oh, and on Sunday night he posted another video in which he and his wife, ESPN’s Michelle Beisner, called a hilarious gymnastics fail by someone in a Las Vegas hotel.

Now more than ever we need some laughs in our day-to-day lives and Joe Buck is showing he’s more than happy to do supply those for us.

Admit it – you like him a little more now.

Weekend’s biggest winner: The Rock and his French toast.

Nobody does cheat meals like The Rock, which you know if you follow him on Instagram. He’s not out there messing around with these things. On Sunday he we went live Instagram and showed off the French toast he’d be eating and these were HUGE chunks of bread. I mean, just massive. The internet sure loved it and rightfully so. Well done, sir.

Quick hits: Aroldis Chapman gets huge… Joe Exotic/Missouri mashup video… MLB pitchers making lots of errors… And more!

– Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman apparently got jacked during the offseason, because this photo of him is ridiculous.

– This video of a Missouri football hype video mashed up with Joe Exotic’s “I Saw a Tiger” is too good.

– Missing baseball? Then check out this supercut of MLB pitchers committing errors, which is oddly satisfying.

– Tom Brady had fun spending his Sunday watching the 28-3 game.

– Gardner Minshew posted the perfect ‘Tiger King’ joke on Instagram.
