When the Arizona Cardinals acquired tight end Zach Ertz in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, he already had a connection with defensive lineman J.J. Watt, who was new to the team after signing as a free agent last offseason. Ertz’ wife Julie and Watt’s wife Kealia were teammates on the Chicago Red Stars, a professional soccer team in the NWSL.
Watt and Ertz share something else now.

Julie is no longer Kealia’s teammate, as her rights were traded to the Angel City NWSL expansion team.
