J.J. Watt, in case you haven’t heard, is a free agent for the first time in his Hall of Fame career.
Last week he called the whole experience “wild” and has been courted by a number of different players, including his younger brother, to join their teams.
I went on record last week by saying there’s really only one team that he should play for next year because it would just make so much sense. But really, he should take his time and find the right spot for him.
On Sunday night a fan replied to a tweet by Watt that had nothing to do with football and asked the defensive end if he was going to be pick a team to play for.
Watt had the perfect response:
I scroll through door dash for like an hour before I pick a restaurant man…
You’re gonna have to give me a second to choose a new team and city. https://t.co/eQXD3eNVFJ

I think we all know how that feels. The Door Dash part, of course.
By the way, Watt’s original tweet was about his high school hockey days. Check out this video:
You wanna sign somewhere or nah?

But yeah, give athletes time to figure out their lives, people.
