Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid just finished one helluva season on his way to winning MVP. He led the league in scoring at 33.1 points per game, he pulled down 10.2 rebounds, dished 4.2 assists, and he blocked 1.7 shots per game.
There is so much Embiid can do out on the floor on the offensive end. He can knock down the 3-ball, he can take a guy off the dribble, he can get to the foul line, and he can really score at all three levels. He has continued to add to his game and it’s why he’s one of the best players in the NBA regardless of position.
Former Sixers guard JJ Redick played two seasons with Embiid and he listed the big fella fourth on his list of the top 5 toughest players to defend in the league.

Embiid will be looking to take the next step forward in his development under new coach Nick Nurse and help the Sixers take another step toward a title in the 2023-24 season.
