JJ Redick answers if he would let his son play at UNC

Former Duke star JJ Redick answered a fan question about letting his son play at UNC.

The hatred between former Duke star JJ Redick and UNC runs deep, but is the hate strong enough for him to not support his son Knox if he decided to become a Tar Heel?

We have the answer.

Redick appeared on his podcast “The Old Man & the Three” with cohost Tommy Alter to answer fan questions. Twitter user @Wreckitralph_95 asked, “Would you rather have Knox be a star at Duke and win the national tournament AND never make the NBA OR be a one-and-done at UNC and be a lottery pick?”

Redick answered the question the only way you would expect a rival to say.

It is nice to know UNC at least has a shot with one of Duke’s scariest 3-point shooters. During his four years with the Blue Devils, Redick averaged 19.9 points, shooting 40% from 3 on 8.1 attempts per game.

Maybe UNC landing the Boozer twins can open the door for this scenario to play out.
