The Philadelphia Eagles need to find out what they have with J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and the only way to truly find out if he has the goods is to allow the second-year wideout to get game reps.
Per Mike Kaye of NJ.com, Arcega-Whiteside will get the start on the outside at receiver against the Steelers’ aggressive defense.
JJAW and Hightower will start today, per the internal announcements in the press box. #Eagles

The 2019 second-round pick out of Stanford missed the 49ers game with a calf injury and even after strong performances from John Hightower and Travis Fulgham, Arcega-Whiteside still has a role on this team.
“J.J. is still a part of what we’re doing,” Doug Pederson said on Wednesday morning. “In fact, he’ll be out there today, he’ll practice today and looking forward to getting him back in the offense and working with the guys.
“It’ll be day by day with him but optimistic he’ll be ready for Sunday.”
Arcega-Whiteside suffered a calf injury during pregame warmups against the Bengals and played just 18 snaps in that game, causing some concern about his future with the organization.
Sunday will go a long way towards determining his place with the organization.
