The PGA Tour returned on Thursday with the opening round of the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. The tournament will be held without fans due to the coronavirus pandemic, which actually gives viewers an enhanced TV experience:
We get to hear everything the golfers say to each other without the noise from the gallery.
And by “everything,” I mean we get to hear golfers curse in their regular in-round banter.
As Jon Rahm chipped in for birdie on the par-3 eighth, Brooks Koepka gave his playing partner props by saying, “Pretty (expletive) good there.” It was, again, all picked up on the broadcast, but at least Jim Nantz was there to offer this classic reaction.

In all likelihood, this won’t be the only time Nantz will have to apologize for a golfer’s language, but we’re OK with that.
