Jim Kelly features in top-rated NFL commercial during Super Bowl 57

Did you see Jim Kelly during the #SuperBowl?

The NFL often uses the numerous stars attached to the game of football to represent the league when they run a commercial during the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl 57, which saw the Chiefs defeat the Eagles 38-35, had another one of those.

This time, it also featured a little Bills Mafia flavor to it as well, with none other than being Jim Kelly involved.

The ad was another run-through style commercial which had quick cameos from players, past and present. Kelly, the former Bills great and Hall of Famer gives a shoutout to the fan base.

“Mafia style, nice,” Kelly says as Diana Flores, quarterback of Mexico Women’s National Flag Football team runs by.

She so happens to go through a table in the ad, prompting Kelly’s line.

The sequence of bringing longtime legends into the fold has often paid off for the NFL. In past years, such pieces received high ad grades from the likes of USA TODAY’s Ad Meter.

That happened again, as this advert featuring Kelly hauled in the second-highest rating of any Super Bowl commercial this year.
