For Michigan football fans, it was one of the quietest spring sessions in memory, with very little coming out of Schembechler Hall in terms of media appearances and with a spring game that was closed to the public and untelevised.

The media heard from Jim Harbaugh once at the outset of the Wolverines undertaking 15 spring practices and only heard from a handful of the coaches in that time frame as well. So much of the state of the team came from hearing from players about once a week.

Now, we have a bit more clarity as to who is standing out and what the team may look like before fall camp, as Harbaugh met up with Jon Jansen on the latest ‘In the Trenches’ podcast to discuss the state of the team, who figures to be in starting or more contributing roles, how the new coaches have impacted the program, the addition of Courtney Morgan in the recruiting department and much more.

Here is everything that Harbaugh said to Jansen on Thursday’s podcast.
