Itβs a tough time to be a Los Angeles Rams fan right now. In addition to five starters hitting free agency in a week, a hideous new logo leaked online this weekend, which was met with overwhelming criticism and hatred from fans.
It appears to be the real deal as Yahooβs Charles Robinson has confirmed itβs the teamβs new logo, but the majority of fans are still holding out hope that the Rams have a change of heart. Ex-Rams quarterback Jim Everett is someone who might be privy to the redesign and based on his recent tweets, he may know something we do not.
In the midst of all the mayhem Sunday, Everett tweeted this zoomed-in photo of a Rams eye and brow, teasing a different logo than the L.A. one that leaked. His caption: “We see ya!” with an eyeballs and ram emoji.

He then tweeted, βSeriously, just playβn. Havenβt a clue! Have a great weekend!β but that wasnβt the end of his Twitter spree about the leaked logo. Everett poked fun at fans who are overanalyzing the logo, while simultaneously indicating that COO Kevin Demoff is laughing at it all from his office.

As if that wasnβt enough of an indication that Everett doubts the validity of the leaked hat, he called it fake in a later tweet.

After tweeting βRise & Shine peepsβ to begin his day on Monday β a play on words from the leaked hat that shows the Ramsβ trademarked phrase, βTime to Shine,β Everett posted this GIF.
It shows a classic Rams helmet over the face of a chef, who throws the leaked logo out a window.

So, is Everett in the know or is he simply trolling fans who are panicking about the leaked logo? We’ll let you be the judge of that, but hopefully for the sake of the fanbase, a different logo is coming in the near future.
Just indulging into the wave of speculation. Life is fun!! The real logo will be here so enough. π
