The New York Jets landed two victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. One on the field and one on social media.
The Jets won on the field, 24-20, to move to 2-2 on the year heading into their first AFC East game next week against the Dolphins. However, the Jets also decided to have a little fun on Twitter.
The Jets posted a picture on Twitter of a pair of black Nike Air Forces with the words “Got ’em.” The shot is in reference to the Steelers claiming to have “black Air Force energy” after head coach Mike Tomlin gifted his players with pairs of black Air Force sneakers.
A lot of that energy has been sucked out of the Steelers after blowing a ten-point lead and losing their third straight game (and very easily could be either 0-3-1 or 0-4).
Chalk one up to the Jets’ social media team on Sunday. Got ’em.
