Tennessee Titans tight ends coach Tony Dews reportedly has yet another interview with a team from New York.
According to ESPN’s Turron Davenport, the New York Jets plan to interview Dews for their running backs coach position, which became vacant after the team parted ways with Taylor Embree.
This is the second interview for Dews, who also received a look from the New York Giants for their running backs coach vacancy before Big Blue hired Joel Thomas.
If you don’t follow the Titans, you might be confused by the fact that I called Dews the tight ends coach. He indeed served in that role in 2023, but before that he was running backs coach in Tennessee for five seasons.
Prior to his stint in Nashville, Dews was a college coach for two decades, working with several positions in that span, including tight ends, running backs, defensive and offensive line, wide receivers and linebackers.
