The veteran safety is entering his ninth NFL season, the last four with the Packers and his first four with the Chicago Bears, who drafted him in the 5th round in 2015.
Amos has started every game over the last five seasons. He has recorded at least one interception in each of the last six seasons, posted ten total in that time. Amos posted 102 tackles in 2022, his first career 100-tackle season.
Amos gives the Jets another veteran starting option at the safety position along with Jordan Whitehead and Chuck Clark. Tony Adams, Ashtyn Davis, Jarrick Bernard-Converse and Trey Dean round out the depth chart.
