Jets re-sign slot CB Brian Poole to 1-year deal worth $5 million

The Jets are-signing Brian Poole, according to multiple reports. He’s getting a one-year deal worth $5 million, according to the New York Post’s Brian Costello.
It’s another prove-it deal for Poole after he signed a one-year deal worth $3.5 million last offseason.
Poole was the Jets’ best cornerback in 2019. In 14 games, Poole had 48 total tackles, one safety, five pass breakups, one interception and one touchdown
