Jets reset stat on multiple-passing touchdowns for first time in years vs. Titans

#Jets reset stat on multiple-passing touchdowns for first time in years vs. #Titans:

The New York Jets have finally given their fans what they want: Some consistency passing the ball.

In Week 2, the Jets (1-1) got their first win of the season against the Tennessee Titans (0-2) in a 24-17 final. The win included a decent game from their QB, with two touchdown passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers to running backs Breece Hall and Braelon Allen.

It was the first time in a long time that New York saw Gang Green have back-to-back games with more than one passing touchdown.

In Week 1, the Jets lost to the San Francisco 49ers but Rodgers and backup QB Tyrod Taylor both threw touchdowns. Those, combined with the two against the Titans, made it the first time since the 2021 NFL season that the Jets did that according to ESPN:

And for the potential next question: Who was the QB back then?

For three of them, it was Jets legend Mike White. The fourth and final came from backup quarterback Josh Johnson.

In similar fashion, Gang Green split those two games, 1-1.
