Jets preseason games vs. Panthers, Giants to air nationally on NFL Network

Jets to see plenty of national exposure in the preseason

The NFL announced 23 preseason games this August will air live on NFL Network. The Jets will see two of their preseason games among this group, giving them three total preseason games that will be broadcast nationally.

In addition to the Hall of Fame Game on NBC on August 3, the Jets will be live in Weeks 1 and 3 of the preseason on NFL Network. The first NFL Network game will be Saturday, August 12 against the Carolina Panthers at 4:00 p.m. eastern as part of a quadruple-header on the network.

The second NFL Network and third national game of the preseason will be New York’s final preseason game on Saturday, August 26 against the New York Giants at 6:00 p.m. eastern.

Of note, games aired live on NFL Network will be blacked out in the teams’ local markets. The games will still be available on either WNBC or WCBS in New York.

The only preseason game that won’t be broadcast nationally will be Week 2 of the preseason, the third game for the Jets on Saturday, August 19 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
