The Jets may soon be already reaching the end of the road with wide receiver Mecole Hardman.
Per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Jets are looking at potential trade options for Hardman. This comes just five weeks into his stint with the Jets after signing as a free agent.

Hardman was inactive against the Broncos and has hardly seen the field at all this season. His only role on special teams would have been as a returner, but Xavier Gipson laid claim to that. Irv Charles provided more on special teams than Hardman, leading to his being inactive.
Hardman signed a 1-year, $4 million contract that could jump to about $6 million through incentives. Trading Hardman would save about $1.8 million in cap space this year but leave $500,000 in dead money this year and $2 million in dead money for 2024.
