The NFL announced the expansion of its Global Markets Program, formally known as the International Home Marketing Areas program, to include 21 teams across 14 international markets.
Among those teams and markets, the Jets are among seven teams that will be a part of the United Kingdom market. They are joined by the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers.
The program allows teams to market themselves and build fan growth in various international markets and build their brands globally. The initiative started in 2022 and teams are able to keep their markets for a five-year period, so this is the second year for the Jets as part of the UK market.
