Daniel Brown will be back with the Jets. The team announced Thursday that the tight end signed a one-year extension for an undisclosed amount. Brown is the second Jets tight end to sign an extension under Joe Douglas. In November, Ryan Griffin signed a three-year deal with the Jets worth $10.8 million with $4 million guaranteed. In 2019, Brown played in all 16 games. He totaled seven receptions for 72 yards and a score. In addition, he finished third on the Jets with 11 special teams tackles. The fifth-year tight end out of James Madison University now has 389 yards, 42 catches and two touchdowns for his career.
