Jets’ Hail Mary attempt ends with worst-case scenario as Dolphins take pick-six 99 yards

The Jets had the chance to swing the momentum against Miami, but Jevon Holland wasn’t having any of that.

The New York Jets had the chance to end the first half of the Black Friday matchup against Miami with a lot of momentum on its side after a pick-six from Tua Tagovailoa cut the Dolphins’ lead to 10-7.

The Jets followed that up with another pick and attempted to retake the lead with a Hail Mary on the final play of the half, but instead, disaster struck.

Tim Boyle’s heave was intercepted at the one-yard line by Jevon Holland, who outran the entire Jets team as he took it back for a touchdown to extend the lead back to two scores as time expired in the half.

The Jets have a big opportunity to remain a factor in the division race against Miami but plays like that are only going to make that a tougher feat.
