Davante Adams got a crash course on how the 2024 NFL season has gone for the Jets after being traded to the team just last week.
Adams suited up and caught three passes for 30 yards in a 37-15 loss to the Steelers in Week 7 on “Sunday Night Football.”
After the fact, he revealed to the “Up & Adams” show that he is hopeful to quickly take up a leadership position with his new team. In fact, he said that has already begun.
“I had a few words to say to the team after the [Steelers] game,” Adams said.
Not much has worked in recent weeks for the Jets. Hopefully his words do.
