Former Alabama running back [autotag]Brian Robinson[/autotag] Jr. waited five years for his turn to be the lead back for the Crimson Tide. After seeing those who sat above him on the depth chart move on the the NFL, it is finally his time.
On the second night of the 2022 NFL draft, Robinson was selected No. 98 overall in the third round by the Washington Commanders. Robinson’s selection came shortly after former Alabama defensive tackle Phidarian Mathis was also drafted by Washington.
Less than 24 hours after being drafted, Robinson had his new jersey number. After wearing No. 4 at Alabama, he will now be wearing No. 8.
Zach Chatham, a graphic designer who goes by ‘The Graphic God’ online quickly shared an edited photo of Robinson wearing the brand new Commanders uniform with his new number.
