Jersey colors for Michigan football vs. Alabama Crimson Tide in Rose Bowl revealed

Classic! #GoBlue

It’s two blue bloods facing off against each other in the granddaddy of them all, and you know that you’ll be seeing a few classic looks. But don’t expect to see color-on-color.

No. 1 Michigan football drew No. 4 Alabama in the Rose Bowl Game on January 1, 2024, with the winner getting the rights to play in the national championship game a week later in Houston, Texas. It should be no surprise that as the top seed, the Wolverines will be entering college football’s oldest and premier bowl game as the home team, but the Rose Bowl wanted to let fans know who will be wearing what.

The last time that the Wolverines and Crimson Tide faced off, after the 2019 season, Michigan wore white while Alabama wore crimson. While those will be the colors each will wear in this game, it says nothing of uniform combinations that the maize and blue may wear, nor what color accessories. The announcement of that will likely come on New Year’s Eve via the Michigan football program.
