Jerry Jeudy quickly cheered up with the news of Broncos’ trade for Russell Wilson

That took a turn.

It’s been a wild emotional roller coaster of a Tuesday for Denver Broncos fans, and nobody is living through it quite like Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy.

Earlier on Tuesday, it was reported that Aaron Rodgers would be signing a four-year, $200 million contract extension to remain with the Green Bay Packers. The news was an apparent setback for the Broncos who were seen as the favorites to land Rodgers. That disappointment was clear with Jeudy’s single-emoji tweet. He thought he was going to be stuck with Drew Lock.

The Broncos didn’t wait very long to cheer their talented receiver up, though.

Less than two hours later, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Broncos were trading for longtime Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Just like that, the Broncos had a star QB under center to match up with the rest of the stacked AFC West.

Jeudy’s reaction was so good. He took to Twitter with a whole new tone.

Yeah, I’d say he approves. What a ride it’s been.
