The San Antonio Spurs have been one of the worst teams in the league all season, but since the All-Star break, they’ve picked up the pace a bit. Though they still aren’t winning a ton of games, the Spurs have won three of their last four games, including a win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
Golden State was without Stephen Curry, but the Spurs were missing Victor Wembanyama and Devin Vassell. Luckily for San Antonio, they had a couple of other players step up, and the team as a whole played with some great intensity throughout the night, earning a victory over a team hunting for the postseason.
After the game, Jeremy Sochan discussed the importance of the energy San Antonio brought during the game.
“It was very important to bring the energy from the start, especially against a team and a crowd and environment like Golden State and San Francisco,” Sochan said via ESPN.
Sochan ended the game with 20 points, five rebounds, one assist, and one block while shooting 7-of-14 from the field and 2-of-4 from distance.
