Jeremy Reaves doesn’t sound too interested in the Commanders being on ‘Hard Knocks’

He’s probably not the only one.

There are four teams in contention to be on the popular NFL “Hard Knocks” series for 2023: The New York Jets, Chicago Bears, New Orleans Saints and Washington Commanders.

The Commanders, Bears and Saints have never been on the longtime NFL series that follows NFL teams around during training camp, catching emotional moments, such as a head coach releasing a popular player from training camp.

If it were up to Washington All-Pro Jeremy Reaves, he’d like to keep it that way.

Most players and coaches feel the same way as Reaves. Cameras are constantly around, making life uncomfortable for teams as they prepare for a new NFL season through a grueling training camp.

Head coach Ron Rivera hasn’t gone on record to state he doesn’t want the Commanders doing the show, but, being old school, it’s safe to say he’d agree with Reaves, one of his team leaders.

Remember, in addition to “Hard Knocks” in training camp, the NFL did an in-season version beginning in 2021. So don’t be surprised if the Commanders are finally picked. The good news for Washington is Aaron Rodgers is expected to land with the Jets, which should make them the favorite.
