Tennessee held a scrimmage Sunday night ahead of its SEC Week 4 contest against Kentucky.

The scrimmage was intended for student-athletes to receive reps who are not playing a huge role during the early part of the season.

Pruitt mentioned freshman defensive back Tamarion McDonald stood out during the scrimmage.

“Tamarion, last night was the first time that he’s really had any contact during fall camp, and I thought he was one of the bright spots of the scrimmage last night, so that was good to see,” Pruitt said.
