The NFL Combine finished up on Sunday, and the offensive lineman were the last position group to work out in Indianapolis. The Wildcats have produced some quality lineman recently. From Luke Fortner and Landon Young to Darian Kinnard and Logan Stenberg, the offensive line has been a strength under Mark Stoops. Kentucky has another offensive lineman at the Combine this year in Jeremy Flax.
Flax has been a fixture on the right side of the line for the Wildcats over the past two seasons. He started 12 games at right tackle for Kentucky in 2022 and 11 games at right tackle in 2023. He was invited to play in both the Hula Bowl and the Senior Bowl after the season ended.
Flax measured in at six foot five and a half inches and weighed 343 pounds. Flax then ran the 40 yard dash in 5.64 seconds with a 10 yard split of 1.96 seconds. He posted a vertical jump of 28 inches and a broad jump of eight foot four inches. Flax didn’t do the agility portion of the skills.
We will have to wait and see if Flax’s Combine and interview portion of the week helped push him up any boards. Flax is a likely late round pick or undrafted free agent.
