After two years of being carried by Bryce Young and his magic, it is time for Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide to get back to their DNA of running the ball and dominating the ground game. The Tide will have a new starting quarterback and running back in 2023 and will need some other position groups to step up, such as the offensive line and wide receivers.
The offensive line play hasn’t quite been up to par in Tuscaloosa the past two seasons, and that is certainly expected to get turned around this year. Fortunately for the Tide, they have arguably the best offensive lineman in college football to build around in JC Latham. In 2022, Latham allowed zero sacks on 517 pass-block snaps and received a pass-blocking grade of 84.6 per PFF College.
Aside from Latham, not much experience will be on the offensive line, however, it’s arguably one of Saban’s most talented groups.
