We very well may be watching a superstar be born before our very eyes, with Boston Celtics All-Star forward Jayson Tatum taking control of the series with the Brooklyn Nets in the 2022 NBA Playoffs with another dominant performance on both ends that has the Nets reeling and in the dreaded 0 – 3 postseason series deficit no team has yet recovered from.
The St. Louis native helped his teammates push Brooklyn into this situation with 39 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and an absurd 6 steals. It might not have been his most efficient night with Tatum shooting 13-of-29 from the floor and 4-of-13 from beyond the arc, but the Duke product made up for it at the charity stripe, where he went 9-for-10.
If you missed the game and want to see how Tatum did in it or just want to watch it again, check out the clip embedded below for all of Tatum’s best plays from the Celtics’ 109 – 103 Game 3 win over the Nets on Saturday night.
