Jayson Tatum aims to be a Boston Celtic all-time great. Is that realistic?

Is that an attainable goal for the St. Louis native, or should he try to focus more on the present?

All-NBA Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum wants to be remembered among the storied franchise’s greatest players. Is that an attainable goal for the St. Louis native, or should he focus more on the present?

In a recent interview with the Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach, Tatum opened up on his love for the Celtics organization and their fans, going as far as to imply he wants to be remembered as a franchise icon. This is exactly the sort of thing Boston fans will eat up, but is it something that will help or hurt his play in the 2023-24 season?

The co-host of the semi-eponymous CLNS Media “Cedric Maxwell” podcast, Josue Pavon, joined the show’s namesake to talk it over on a recent episode.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear whether they think Tatum can get himself into such lofty company by the end of his NBA career.
