Jaylen Wester noticing a ‘brotherhood’ being built within Colorado’s defense

Linebacker Jaylen Wester spoke on how Colorado’s defense can reach championship heights

Building a defense requires everyone to be on the same page and willing to support their teammates.

For Florida Atlantic transfer linebacker Jaylen Wester, he sees the Colorado Buffaloes’ defense rounding into championship form during fall camp. The first-year CU linebacker is competing for playing time at his position, but he sees everyone wanting greatness for each other.

Here’s what Wester had to say about how Colorado’s defense is gelling this preseason:

“We’re all together, and we’re all cheering for the next to be great,” Wester said. “I think if you want to win this year, we got to all come together and build a brotherhood. We’re building a brotherhood. (We’re) coming together each and every day, working hard and bonding so we can get to that championship this year.”

Wester played in 21 games over the past two years with nine starts and accumulated 113 total tackles, 12 TFLs, two sacks, one forced fumble and an interception.
