Jayden Daniels signs new NIL deal with Raising Cane’s

Jayden Daniels became the latest LSU athlete to ink a deal with Raising Cane’s.

LSU quarterback [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] became the school’s latest athlete to sign a name, image and likeness licensing deal with iconic Louisiana fast-food restaurant Raising Cane’s, according to On3 NIL reporter Pete Nakos.

Daniels, a transfer addition from Arizona State last fall who was named to the preseason Third Team All-SEC by the media entering his fifth season in 2023, announced his new deal with a promoted Instagram post.

NIL deals with Raising Cane’s are nothing new for the Tigers, who saw women’s basketball stars Angel Reese and Flau’Jae Johnson and several members of the baseball team promote the restaurant following those sports’ respective national titles.

“Nothing I like better than touchdowns and chicken fingers,” Daniels wrote in the post.

Daniels has a social media following nearing 100,000, and his NIL valuation of $566,000 ranks him at No. 78 among all college athletes, according to On3. He’s already signed an NIL deal with a high-profile player in the space in Gordan McKernan Injury Attorneys, and there will likely be more deals to come if Daniels has the Heisman-contending season many expect.
