As [autotag]Jayden Daniels[/autotag] enters his second season in Baton Rouge, his expectations couldn’t be any higher. After taking over as the starting quarterback on a team full of new faces, Daniels led the Tigers to a 10-4 record and an appearance against the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game.
A 10-win season in Brian Kelly’s first year at LSU was a story that a lot of people did not expect, but it was a welcome sight. It was capped off when LSU destroyed Purdue 63-7 in the Citrus Bowl.
So, what does Daniels think the Tigers can accomplish this fall?
“Our main core of leaders, of top talent are all coming back — so why not come back and try to win a national championship?”
A national championship in year two from a coach at LSU? Where have we seen that before? Look no further than [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag] (women’s basketball) and [autotag]Jay Johnson[/autotag] (baseball).
