Jay Graham returns to Tennessee

Jay Graham joins Tennessee’s coaching staff.

KNOXVILLE — Former Tennessee running back Jay Graham is returning to UT as an assistant coach.

Graham played running back for the Vols from 1993-96.

The VFL also coached at Tennessee during the 2012 season under then-head coach Derek Dooley, serving as running backs coach. He also was a graduate assistant in 2005 at Tennessee under Phillip Fulmer.

Graham reunites with Jeremy Pruitt after coaching alongside the current UT head coach at Florida State in 2013. Pruitt served as defensive coordinator, while Graham was running backs coach for the Seminoles. Florida State won the 2013 BCS national championship.

The new Tennessee assistant leaves Texas A&M after serving as the Aggies’ co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach in 2019.
