For those concerned about whether or not New England Patriots players are getting their offseason work in, look no further. Jarrett Stidham and Julian Edelman have been working out together in preparation for the 2020 season.
This was first revealed when former Red Sox infielder Brock Holt shared a video of himself running routes and catching footballs with his friends. Some good-natured ribbing ensued, and Holt tagged Edelman and Stidham in the video. Stidham replied with “We’ve been at it… Where you at bro?!”
According to a report from ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Stidham and Edelman have been seeing each other quite frequently. This is certainly positive news for the Patriots organization, as that duo that should provide a fair amount of offense for the organization in the coming years.
This offseason connection could bode well for the 2020 season and beyond. As a veteran in this offense, Edelman is perhaps one of the more reliable targets on New England’s wide receiving unit
