Jarrett Kingston gives USC not just a quality player, but Pac-12 expertise

Lincoln Riley has gained a lot from transfers who already have working knowledge about other #Pac12 teams.

One of the biggest additions in the transfer portal this offseason for Lincoln Riley was Washington State offensive lineman Jarrett Kingston. With the protection of Caleb Williams being one of the biggest keys to a successful season for USC, Kingston should come in and provide that for the Trojan front.

Jack Follman of SuperWest Sports has Kingston as the 10th-best offensive lineman in the Pac-12. It helps that he already is familiar with the opposing teams in the conference from his Washington State days:

“The Trojans grabbed Washington State’s best offensive lineman. He should slide in right at USC and make a great impact,” Follman wrote.

Oregon State has three offensive linemen in the top six while the Trojans have three in the top 10.

USC and Oregon State have the two best offensive lines in the Pac-12 this year. As long as the Trojans’ offensive front lives up to the billing and the expectations, this offense should roar with potency in 2023.
