Jared Goff sets NFL precision passing mark in win over the Seahawks

Goff blew away the record for the most attempts without a single incompletion for a full game in Detroit’s MNF win

Until Monday night, no NFL quarterback had completed more than 10 passes in a game without a single incompletion for an entire game. Jared Goff nearly doubled that longstanding record in Detroit’s 42-29 win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Goff was a perfect 18-of-18 for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Nary a pass hit the ground. And with that perfection, Goff now owns the NFL record for the most passes without an incompletion in an entire game with 18.

Previously, Kurt Warner held the record. In 2005, Warner went 10-for-10 in a Cardinals loss to the Texans, a game in which Warner did not play the whole way.
