Jared Goff catches a lot of flak for the way he plays sometimes, but he’s still been a good quarterback since being drafted first overall by the Rams in 2016. Despite his struggles, he’s still managed to climb the ranks in terms of franchise history at the quarterback position.
On Sunday against the Jets, Goff tossed his 20th touchdown pass of the season. In doing so, he made franchise history as the first Rams quarterback to ever have four consecutive seasons of 20-plus touchdown passes.
The Rams have had some prolific passers under center, and also some extremely difficult years at the position, but Goff has stabilized the quarterback spot for L.A.
The fact was uncovered by Rams play-by-play announcer J.B. Long.
That was @JaredGoff16’s 20th touchdown pass of the season. He’s the first @RamsNFL QB to have four consecutive years of 20+.

Here’s a look at the touchdown pass that got it done, connecting with Tyler Higbee for six points to make it a 23-16 deficit to New York.
