Jared Goff grew a quarantine mustache and Twitter is loving it

Jared Goff is rocking a new look during these trying times.

In a normal offseason, Jared Goff would be wrapping up his last week of preparation before organized team activities. However, this isn’t a typical offseason due to the coronavirus pandemic that has put everything on hold.

Instead, Goff is at home working out, making golf trick shots and growing a mustache. With OTAs essentially canceled in their usual capacity, Goff saw it as an opportunity to grow a sweet ‘stache.

He debuted it on a video call with reporters Wednesday and Twitter is loving it. The reaction from fans was mostly positive with only a few folks sharing negative reviews of the mustache.

FanDuel asked fans on Twitter to reply with who Goff looks like, and of course, the responses were fantastic.

They ranged from Ryan Gosling to Goose from “Top Gun,” both of which are accurate.

Goff has never really had any facial hair in the NFL or even dating back to his college days at Cal, so this is a different look for him. But he did have a mustache once before.

Back in 2012, he grew one out but his high school forced him to shave his “magnificence mustache.” Thankfully, it has made its triumphant return.
