Tennessee student-athlete Jared Dickey received second-team All-Southeastern Conference honors by the league’s coaches Monday.
Dickey, a redshirt sophomore, finished the regular-season ranked among the leaders in batting average and hits in conference games.
He appeared in 28 SEC games and recorded a .369 batting average, the third highest in the conference. Dickey tied for fifth with 41 hits.
Dickey enters the SEC Tournament with 12 home runs. He hit six home runs in SEC games. Dickey totaled 23 RBIs in league contests, the second most for Tennessee.
Dickey led the Vols in total bases in SEC games with 64.
