The New England Patriots were without running back James White and center David Andrews at practice on Wednesday in preparation for the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 1 p.m., according to reporters on the scene.
White lost his father Tyrone this weekend in a car crash and missed the team’s Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. White’s mother was in critical condition.
Andrews was not listed on the injury report last week. The reason for his absence will likely arrive with the team’s injury report later today.
Linebacker Josh Uche was listed as limited with an ankle injury, and was ruled out last Friday for Week 2, but he was at practice on Wednesday.

It’s unclear when White will rejoin the Patriots or whether they’ll give him the week off to grieve the loss of his father.
