For the first time since January 3, the Brooklyn Nets will have two superstars on the floor Saturday. While Kyrie Irving remains unavailable due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, James Harden has been given the green light to play on Saturday. He had been questionable to play against the Orlando Magic with the Nets waiting for physicals of other players involved in the trade to be completed.
After the Indiana Pacers announced they’d officially acquired Caris LeVert, Harden was deemed available to play against the Magic.
Harden played in eight of Houston’s nine games before the trade. After scoring 44 in the season opener then 34 and 33 in the ensuing games, the new Brooklyn guard averaged 17.4 points per game to go with his 10 assists per game and five rebounds a night in his final five games in a Rockets uniform.
