It was the bubble matchup NBA fans had been hyped up for: The Milwaukee Bucks and the Houston Rockets in the bubble on Sunday.
It wasn’t just because it was another test of the Rockets’ small-ball strategy that seems like it’s working (!). It’s because James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo have had some serious beef this year.
The Greek Freak ripped Harden both while picking his All-Star team and after the game, telling reporters he was “trying to find whoever James Harden was guarding” (this is important for later).
Harden got him back in an interview with Rachel Nichols, and even though it seemed like Antetokounmpo may have complimented Harden recently, it may not have ended.
Now, we go to Sunday. And look at whose defense on Antetokounmpo helped the Rockets defeat the Bucks?

Right! And when asked about his defense against the defending MVP, Harden either chose not to go there or let his play speak for itself: “Next question.”

It’s really too bad we may not see these two meet again this season … unless they both make a run to the Finals.
